The Circle of Bliss: Buddhist Meditational Art is dedicated to the late Lain Singh Bangdel (1924–2002), beloved father of Dina, and dear friend to John. Nepal's foremost artist, art historian, and one of the world's most considerate humanists, Lain opened his heart and mind to all who sought his help in studying Nepalese art. Without his inspiration, support, and guidance for both of us, none of this would have come to pass. Father and friend, may your rainbow body attain the true circle of bliss
